MobiKlinic

Mobile clinic approach to improving access to healthcare

MobiKlinic runs mobile clinics in Buikwe district that ensure that community members still access the healthcare that they need on issues such as TB, HIV/AIDS, and maternal care despite the pandemic. Through mobile clinics, quality and affordable services are brought to the people in the community. A nurse / community health provider finds a community member in the comfort of their location. The MobiKlinic community health workers use a smartphone application for inquiries and referrals to clinicians in their database. Knowledge can easily be transferred to community health workers through this application.
